【摘要】:Theproceduredescribedinthispracticeisdesignedtoprovideamethodbywhichthecoatingweightofchromiumtreatmentsonmetalsubstratesmaybedetermined.Thisprocedureisapplicablefordeterminationofthetotalcoatingweightandthechromiumcoatingweightofachromium-containingtreatment.1.1ThispracticecoverstheuseofX-rayfluorescence(XRF)techniquesfordeterminationofthecoatingweightofchromiumtreatmentsonmetalsubstrates.Thesetechniquesareapplicablefordeterminationofthecoatingweightaschromiumortotalcoatingweightofachromium-containingtreatment,orboth,onavarietyofmetalsubstrates.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
