【摘要】:ThispartoftheEuropeanStandardEN13965,Characterizationofwaste-Terminology-Part1:Materialrelatedtermsanddefinitions,concernsconceptswhicharerelatedtodifferenttypesofwaste.Itgivesacompilationofselectedandupdatedtermsanddefinitionsforusebyforexampleproducers,wasteindustryandlegislatorsinthewastemanagementfield.Itisharmonizedwiththecurrentlanguageusedinmanagementaswellasinregulation.Itincludes,withreferences,nationaltermsanddefinitionswheresuchneedshavebeenexpressed.Itdoesnotincludetermsrelatedtospecializedactivities.ThescopeofTC292excludesradioactivewastes.Thereforesuchconceptsarenotincludedinthisstandard.DefinitionsinotherstandardswithascopedifferentfromthescopeofthisEuropeanStandardcanbedifferentfromthedefinitionsinthisstandard.NOTEInthecontextofEuropeanwastelegislationanobjectcanchangefrombeingawastetobeinganon-wasteduringitslifecycle.Typicalexamplesareconceptsmakingreferencetoe.g.aresiduethatmaywellbeeitherawasteoranon-waste.TheintentionofthisEuropeanStandardisnottodistinguishbetweenthetwostatesbutappliesonlytoobjectswhichhavealreadybeenclassifiedaswasteonthebasisofcurrentregulations.
