【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversflexiblechlorinatedpolyethylene(CPE)sheetingwhichisusedwithoutmastic,bedding,orcoatingforconstructionofconcealedwater-containmentmembranesinapplicationswherethereispotentialforcostlysecondarydamagefromleakage,andwhereverylong-termreliableperformanceisessential.Examplesarefountains,pools,planters,showerandsafepans,tiletubs,andsimilarinstallationswherethemembraneisinaccessibleonceconstructioniscomplete.Includedarerequirementsforcomposition,strengthandtoughness,testmethods,workmanshipcriteria,andmethodsofmarking.Manufacturershavetheoptiontouserecycledmaterialsinthisproduct.RecycledmaterialsmustbeinaccordancewiththerequirementsinSection4.Thetestmethodsusedtocharacterizethesheetingareintendedtoensurequalityandperformanceandarenotnecessarilyadequatefordesignpurposes.Testmethodshavebeenselectedtobeconductedprimarilywithliquidsthatsimulatetheenvironmentstowhichthemembranewillbesubjectedduringactualinstallationanduse.Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverwater-containmentmembranesexposedinusetoultravioletlightordirectsunlight.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesaregivenforinformationonly.Note1-ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section14,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
